What this site does

When you enter your postcode on our enquiry form, we route your message straight to the installer covering your area — not a call-centre, not a brokerage, not a marketplace selling your contact details to four traders at once.

We don't sell aerials or equipment. We match. The installer owns the relationship from first reply through to the final invoice; we just open the door.

Why we exist

The UK TV aerial trade is fragmented — a handful of national chains running call-centre dispatch, plus thousands of independent installers most homeowners can't find. The aggregator directories (Checkatrade, TrustATrader, MyBuilder) do the matchmaking but with thin information and broad coverage across 90 other trades.

This site is single-vertical, deeply technical (every page carries the UK transmitter and aerial-group data the trade actually uses), and honest about what we don't know. If a DIY retune fixes your problem, our troubleshooting guide says so before we ask if you want a quote.

Editorial standards

• Vendor-neutral. We don't take payment to recommend specific aerial brands, satellite providers, or installation companies. Where we name a product or service (e.g. Restore TV's free 4G filters), it's because the information is materially useful.
• No fabricated prices. Per-job pricing depends on roof access, signal strength, cable run length and mounting type. We will not publish a "from £X" number we can't honour. Our UK 2026 price guide quotes realistic ranges.
• Trust marks displayed honestly. CAI, RDI-LB (Digital Tick), NICEIC and Which? Trusted Trader credentials are tied to individual installers. We display them only on the pages of installers who actually hold them, with the installer's contractual permission.
• Source data is auditable. Our UK transmitter directory pulls from Ofcom and the long-running aerialsandtv.com knowledge base. Population figures use ONS data. Postcode-area mappings use the Royal Mail PAF model.

Who runs this site

tv-aerials.co.uk is a product of DIJITUL LTD, a UK web design and development company based in Nottingham. The domain was previously operated by a since-retired installer; we rebuilt it from scratch in 2026 with a focus on technically credible, AI-friendly content and a postcode-routed enquiry pipeline.

Privacy

When you submit our enquiry form, your contact details are stored briefly and forwarded only to the installer who'll do your job. If no installer is currently assigned to your area, we route the enquiry to the closest active installer instead. We never sell, share, or resell your details to third-party marketers or other trades.
